358: Happy Birthday, America!

358

Although in my youth, I sported British flags on the 4th of July to protest those traitors to the crown that let us down the path to not being English (I really wanted a cool  accent), I have now come to appreciate my American-ness. In celebration of that, today I share my “1776” bride- although she probably owes a bit more to Joshua Reynolds and Marie Antoinette than to Betsy Ross, she’s wearing blue and white and has red hair, so the sentiment’s there.

Happy birthday, America, you old bag.
